• Avoid fatty foods. It is best if you deal with healthy fats such as olive oil and canola oil. It is also advised that you avoid eating foods rich in saturated fats because it can decrease insulin resistance. It will be great if you try to boil your foods instead of frying them.

• Eat healthy foods and eat regularly. Eating at least three times a day is advised. This is to make sure that you will not starve later in the day.
